Vinfen Connecticut is always looking for dedicated volunteers to share their time, committee and council members to share their perspective, and donors to share their resources. Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and psychiatric conditions.

JOIN THE VINFEN CT FAMILY ADVISORY COUNCIL

Any family member of a person with an intellectual and developmental disability or psychiatric condition is encouraged to join the Vinfen CT Family Advisory Council. This includes parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, grandparents, guardians, and other loved ones. The council is designed to increase family and advocate input into the organization’s work.

JOIN THE VINFEN ART CONNECTION STUDIO COMMUNITY ADVISORY COUNCIL

This council is designed to promote and cultivate growth, visibility, and community partnerships for our vocational art program and artists, as well as create opportunities for artists to exhibit and sell works of art both within the community and beyond. Council members will support the Art Connection Studio as a contributing leader within Hartford’s emerging art community. CONNECTING THROUGH ART

The Art Connection Studio

 

The Art Connection Studio is an innovative art center and gallery offering opportunities for learning and creativity development. Here, individuals can follow their dreams to become an artist and explore the many art modalities offered at the studio. The studio provides specialized vocational programming, art therapy, team-building, and community based art classes. Artists are encouraged to create their own unique, individualized career, while learning new processes and developing skills with the encouragement and support of a professional staff of artists.
